Cognitive Bias Modification (CBM) has been shown to be effective with as little as 2 hours of treatment and is used to treat a variety of mood and anxiety disorders, including Social Anxiety Disorder, Generalized Anxiety Disorder and Depression. In one study, 72% of participants were cured of Social Anxiety Disorder after a few weeks of CBM and participants also show increased activity in the lateral prefrontal cortex - the area of the brain associated with more positive, happier thinking.

During the Cognitive Bias Modification session, 4 images will appear on the screen. You must try to tap the positive image as quickly as possible. Points are awarded for speed!
By consciously and repeatedly selecting positive information over negative information, you can gradually develop a positive bias - a tendency to focus more on positive information in your everyday life.
